Savski (Slovenija) and John Grzinich (ZDA). Osnova so bili razmisleki o samouravnavajo\u010dem sistemu &#8211; brez \u017eelje, da bi dodajala kak\u0161no sintenti\u010dno obliko inteligence &#8211; ostal je instrument v rokah ljudi &#8211; posameznikov, ki so se odlo\u010dili za interakcijo z &#8216;mehanskim&#8217; sistemom. Resda: ne preve\u010d predvidljiv instrument. Medtem ko lahko mehanski sistem pretvarja med mehanskimi energijami, pa \u010dlove\u0161ka udele\u017eenost doda mo\u017enost pretvorb mehanskega v poetsko&#8230;<br \/>\nInstalacija\/ performensi so potekali od 14. do 28. junija 1999 v galeriji KAPELICA, Ljubljana\/ Slovenija.<\/p>\n<p><b>februar 1999: Borut Savski -&gt; midi simfonietta lacrimosa&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/b> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3via.org\/records\/index.php?opt=item&amp;id=15\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.3via.org\/records\/index.php?opt=item&amp;id=15<\/a><\/p>\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-15-3\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.turborebop.net\/borut\/mp\/simfonietta.mp3?_=3\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.turborebop.net\/borut\/mp\/simfonietta.mp3\">https:\/\/www.turborebop.net\/borut\/mp\/simfonietta.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>Ta &#8216;stranski produkt&#8217; je rezultat ve\u010djega \u0161tevila razli\u010dnih zvo\u010dnih utrinkov, ki so nastali leta 1998 kot rezultat mojih raziskav\u00a0 na polju preprostih algoritmi\u010dnih struktur &#8211; vsi na osnovi naklju\u010dnih midi kontroliranih sekvenc. Orodje je bil ra\u010dunalnik Amiga 500 in program dr.T&#8217;s s KCS Levell II keyboard controlled sequencer (-&gt; verzija iz leta 1991). Nekatere tako nastale midi sekvence so bile prene\u0161ene na sodobnej\u0161i ra\u010dunalnik s tam prisotnimi sampli. Free RADIO HELSINKI in Graz (which was lost awhile ago) is still a realistic possibility for as long as they continue to think so. This soundtrack was constructed using whatever came to hands. Katarina and Borut joined in soon enough.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, 27th Sept 98: post_ARS_ELECTRONICA_trauma (the art of mixing contexts)<br \/>\nin Slovene language!<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-15-5\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.turborebop.net\/borut\/mp\/postAEtrauma.mp3?_=5\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.turborebop.net\/borut\/mp\/postAEtrauma.mp3\">https:\/\/www.turborebop.net\/borut\/mp\/postAEtrauma.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>My view of contexts being mixed in a most uncritical manner at ARS ELECTRONICA 98 where we were to represent the result of the learning process of one year\u00a0 of internet media activities which (by_the_way) uncritically turn more and more into simple radio-transmitting of music, waiting to join the real media institutions (radio-stations, newspapers, TV-stations, galleries)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, 17th Sept 98, 24.00 CET: A night with sound artist JGrzinich from Austin\/Texas travelling through soundscapes of Europe<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-15-6\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.turborebop.net\/borut\/mp\/jgrzinich.mp3?_=6\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.turborebop.net\/borut\/mp\/jgrzinich.mp3\">https:\/\/www.turborebop.net\/borut\/mp\/jgrzinich.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>An excerpt from three hours&#8217; long\u00a0 soundscape by John Grzinich. A free description would be: soundscapes of landscapes (in view of his extensive use of &#8216;concrete&#8217; sounds, layering it all according to his own poetic re-interpretation &#8216;of the way they used to be&#8217;). Live mix of recorded sound material was performed by the artist himself using pre-recorded sounds, some computer post-produced sounds a day before and extensive use of his &amp; his friends&#8217; CDs (Miroslav Rajkowski, MNortham, JGrzinich, Hans Caspar, etc&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, 15th Avg 98, 22.00 CET to midnight: NORTH COAST NOISE COALITION (Astoria &amp; Portland\/ Oregon)<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-15-7\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.turborebop.net\/borut\/mp\/hayes_borut_clutter.mp3?_=7\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.turborebop.net\/borut\/mp\/hayes_borut_clutter.mp3\">https:\/\/www.turborebop.net\/borut\/mp\/hayes_borut_clutter.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>An example of an &#8216;asynchronous&#8217; session (interaction between musicians was not in &#8216;real time&#8217;). Music &amp; soundtracks as produced by (allround artist) Roger Hayes \/ -&gt; CYANOSIS, Robert Clutter &amp; friends \/-&gt; first two cd&#8217;s of MU label and some exclusive recordings of Roger Hayes&#8217; live broadcast at Astoria community radio station KNMU\/. The sonic excerpt was produced an hour later as a way of transcending the previous &#8216;formatted&#8217; broadcast using parts from Robert Clutter&#8217;s and Roger Hayes&#8217; CDs and especially the exclusive cassette recordings of Roger Hayes&#8217; ARP monophonic synth.
